Let x= time of the first bus and you = time of travel for the second bus. Solve the system by using method of addition.

If they leave in opposite directions at the same time, then their distance from each other increases at the rate of 56+70, or 126 mph. 378/126=3 hours before they are 378 miles apart. ☺☺☺☺
