there are 2 planes: plane a and plane b.
plane a takes off from new york city at 10 am traveling to chicago and flying at 600 miles per hour.
plane b takes off from chicago traveling to new york city at 11 am traveling to new york city and flying at 500 miles per hour.
They meet and collide in midair. which plane was closer to Chicago?
:
Think about this, it's a trick question. When they collide they will be at the same point, therefore they will be the same distance from Chicago, wherever that is.
