Question 1044720: Here's my problem:
Buddy and Ken can install a ceiling panel in 10 minutes. Tom and Leonard can install one in 15 minutes. If both pairs of men work together, how many minutes would it take them to install 12 ceiling panels?
What I managed to get was 1%2F10x%2B1%2F15x=12x=72. Is this right?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
You can check your answer on your own.

I can add to it one simple thought:

In each 30 minutes Buddy and Ken install 3 panels;
                   Tom and Leonard install 2 panels.
Working together, the four install 3 + 2 = 5 panels each 30 minutes.
                                          10 panels every hour . . .

The rest is on you.

This problem slightly differs from the standard joint work problems.
The difference is in that it works with discrete (integer) variables.
