Question 1036326: Two trains of equal length are running on parallel lines in the same direction at 46 km/hr and 36 km/hr. The faster train passes the slower train in 36 seconds. The length of each train is:
Answer by josmiceli(19441)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You can think of this as one of the train being
stationary and the other train moving at the
difference of their speeds
It takes 2 of their train lengths for the tail of
the moving train to pass the head of the
stationary one.
Let = 1 train length in km

( note that seconds are converted to hrs )

km
Convert km to meters

The length of each train is 50 meters
Hope I got it!
