Question 1035961: can somebody please solve this problem for me.
A ball is thrown that is 3 feet above the ground is thrown upward with an initial velocity of 32 feet per second. The height(h)of the ball is a function of the amount of time (t) the ball is in the air. Time is measured in seconds. The function can be modeled by the equation:h(t) = -16t2+32t+3.
1.What is the greatest height the ball reaches?

2.At how many seconds does the ball reach the greatest height?

3.What point on the parabola corresponds to this height?
(Give the name of the point, NOT the coordinates)

4.How high is the ball after 0.5 seconds?
Show the algebraic work for this.

5.How long is the ball in the air?
Explain how you got your answer.
