Hi there,
Perimeter formula:-
2 x Length + 2 x Width
2(x + 5) + 2(x) = 50
2x + 10 + 2x = 50
Collect like terms:
2x + 2x = 50 - 10
4x = 40
x = 10.
Length = 15
Width = 10
