Since she has a 100-acre farm, the the total amount of corn and wheat is:
C + W=100
If her profit is 49,000, then
500C+475W=49000
Solving for C and W, we get
500C+475W=49000
475C+475W=47500;
25C=1500
C=60
Celeste planted 60 acres of corn, and (100-60), or 40, acres of wheat!!!!!!!!
