let c=rate of wind
x+c=rate of plane with the wind
x-c=rate of plane against the wind
travel time*rate=distance
3(x+c)=960
4(x-c)=960
3x+3c=960
4x-4c=960
12x+12c=3840
12x-12c=2880
add:
24x=6720
x=280
4c=4x-960
4c=160
c=40
rate of plane with the wind=320 mph
x-c=rate of plane against the wind=240 mph
