We want to go from 85 miles to time, in hours. It looks like this -
%2885miles%29%28hour%2Fmile%29=X+hours
the key thing is to plug in the right numbers -
%2885miles%29%281hour%2F3.7mile%29=22.97+hours
miles need to cancel, so even though we say 3.7miles per hour, in this equation, we need 1hr/3.7 miles.

If a runner can average 3.7 mph, can he complete a 85 mile supermarathon in less than 24 h? What would his time be in hours?
T+=+D%2FS ------> highlight_green%28T+=+85%2F3.7%29
Calculate T: the time, and compare to 24 hours
