Question 1010334: Initial height = h0, initial velocity =v0, a rock is thrown straight up after t seconds h= -4.9t2+v0*t+hO
0. What is the expression for time when the Rock is reached to maximum height

Answer by fractalier(6550)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Given some upward initial velocity v0, we know it will slow down under the influence of gravity, until it becomes zero, or
v0 - gt = 0
t = v0/g = v0/9.8
This can also be done using calculus, but I'm not sure you're there yet...
