They want to arrive by 2:30 pm they live 130 miles away and the speed limit on the highway they will take is 65 miles per hour. They plan to leave their house at 10:30 am. How much earlier or later than the planned arrival of 2:30 will they be.

If they travel at 65 mph, they will cover 130 miles in exactly two hours (t = d/r = 130/65). If they leave at 10:30 am, they will arrive at 12:30 pm, two hours early.
