Question 100080: Radio signals travel at a rate of 3.0x10^8 meters per second. How many seconds will it take for a radio signals to travel from a satellite to the surface of the Earth if the satellite is orbiting at a height of 1.38x10^8?
So far i have tried converting the distance formula so that you can work out the time, so t=d/v, but then I don't know how to proceed from there. THank you for your help!

:
Wouldn't the 10^8's just cancel?
:
Time = = = .46 seconds
