 Question 89575: Dear Tutors, Here is my word problem that I am having difficulty with - At the beginning of the day a 100 lb. watermelon is 99% water. At the end of the day it is 98% water. How much does the watermelon weigh at the end of the day? I don't know how to start this and I am not sure if it is some kind of trick problem.
