Call the smaller number x and the larger number y. The first sentence tells us
x + y = 90
The second sentence tells us
y = 2x + 15
Now solve the first and substitute into the second
y = 90 - x and
90 - x = 2x + 15
75 = 3x
x = 25
y = 65
