Mount Everest = E
Let K2 = K
E = K + 237
Sum of both mountains is a total height of 17459
Our eqauation is E + K = 17459
So we subtitue E with (K + 237)
so our eqaution now looks like this: %28K%2B237%29%2BK=17459
Let solve for K
Lets combine Terms on the left side of the equation 2K%2B237=17459
Now Subtract 237 from both sides 2K%2B237-237=17459-237 = 2K=17222
Sow we divide both side by 2 2K%2F2=17222%2F2 = K=8611
So we now know K2's height is 8,611 Meters
So Mount Everest = 8,611 + 237 = 8,848 Meters
Check 8,611 + 8,848 = 17,459
