Let the number be"x"
from the first sentence,
Two less than x=x-2
Three more than
half of the x=3+(x/2)
from your question,
two more than x = three more than half of the x
i.e, x-2=3+(x/2)
x-2=(6+x)/2
2x-4=6+x
collect like terms
2x-x=6+4
x=10
The number is 10
