How do you find the equation for:
The sum of two times a number and three times another number is 8.
2x + 3y = 8
------------------------
The difference of these two numbers is 2.
2x - 3y = 2
------------------------
Find the numbers::
4x = 10
x = 5/2
------
Solve for "y"::
2x+3y = 8
5 + 3y = 8
3y = 3
y = 1
