Question 942834: The average earning of 35 workers is Rs 45 a day. If the average earning of the first 17 workers is Rs 47 a day and that of of the last 17 is Rs 44 a day, what is the earning of the 18th worker?
Answer by macston(5194) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
all 35 workers*45 = 1575 total pay/day
first 17 workers*47=799 per day
last 17 workers*44=748 per day
799+748=1547 total for first 17 and last 17 (Total without 18th)
total all - total without 18= earning of 18th
1575-1547=28 18th workers earning for the day was Rs 28
