What is the formula for attempting to figure this out?

Answer by ewatrrr(24785)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I = Prt, Assuming t = 1 year
Multiplying thru by 2 so as all denominators = 1
.14P = 420
P = 420/.14 = $3000
And...checking ($1500 at each rate)
$120 + $90 = $210
