the tens digit of a two digit number is 3 times greater than the units digit. if the number is divided by the sum of all digits the quotient is 6 and the remainder is 8
the question is wrong
there is no such type of 2 disit number
because
let us take in this 2 disit number tens disit is x and unit disit is y
then the 2 disit number is 10x+y
as per question
the tens digit of a two digit number is 3 times greater than the units digit
tens digit(x) = 3 (unit disit y)
⇒ x=3y
⇒ x-3y = 0 .......eq(1)
The number is divided by the sum of all digits the quotient is 6 and remainder is 8
⇒ 10x+y =6(sum of disit)+ 8=6(x+y)+8
⇒10(3y)+y = 6(3y+y)+8
⇒31y=24y+8
⇒7y=8
⇒y=8/7
which is impossible
