the natural number are 1,2,3,4,5, etc.

the first natural number is 1
the second natural number is 2
the third natural number is 3
the fourth natural number is 4

the number is the same as its position in the order string of natural numbers.
this means that:

the 13th natural number is equal to 13.
the 23d natural number is equal to 23.

the first even number is 2
the second even number is 4
the third even number is 6
the fourth even number is 8.

the number is twice its position in the ordered string of even natural numbers.

this means that the 34th even natural number is 68.

take 23 and subtract 13 from it and you get 10.

take half of that and you get 5.

add 5 to 68 and you get 73.

that should be your answer if i did this right.
