a₂= the second number
d= 1
The sum of two consecutive numbers is 73.
Sn = n/2(2a₁+(n-1)d)
73 = 2/2(2a₁+(2-1)1)
73 = 2a₁+1
72 = 2a₁
36 = a₁
a₂ = a₁+(n-1)d
a₂ = 36+(2-1)1
a₂ = 36+1
a₂ = 37
The numbers are 36 and 37.
