Question 929883: 4. The length of each side of an equilateral triangle is (x+5) centimetres.
Write an expression in terms of x for the perimeter of the equilateral triangle. Give this in its simplest form.

each side of an equilateral triangle is (x+5)cm
......
P = (x+5) + (x+5) + (x+5) = 3x + 15
P = 3x + 15
P = 22.5
...........
22.5 = 3x + 15
7.5 = 3x
2.5 = x
