Question 890704: This one I got 76, again just wondering if I'm right or wrong.
The sum of two consecutive even integers is 154. Find the least of the two integers.

Answer by JulietG(1812)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A + B = 154
A = B+2
Substitute the value of A from the bottom equation into the top.
A + B = 154
(B+2) + B = 154
2B + 2 = 154
2B = 152
B = 76
If B is 76, then A is 78.
76 + 78 = 154
You are correct :-)
