The perimeter of a rectangle is 3 more than three times its width. Find the length and width of the rectangle.
----------------
Let the width be "x".
Perimeter = 3x+3
---------------------
Perimeter = 2*length + 2*width
3x+3 = 2*length + 2*x
2*length = x+3
length = (1/2)(x+3
width = x
