Let one number be x.
Then other number is 2*x + 2
Product = 
i.e.  or 
This can be solved through factorization



So, x = -7 or x = 6
Since it is given that x is positive, the first number is 
and the second number is 2*6 + 2 = . 
Product = 6*14 = 84. Correct!
