Answer by Theo(13342)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) = 27
simplify and combine like terms to get:
3x + 3 = 27
subtract 3 from both sides to get:
3x = 24
divide both sides by 3 to get:
x = 8
the numbers should be 8, 9, 10
add them up together and you get 27.
