the sum of two angles is 119 degrees. one angle is 22 degrees less than twice the other angle. find the angles
119 = 2x - 22
119 + 22 = 2x
141 = 2x
70.5 = x
119 - 70.5 = 48.5
Two angles are 48.5 & 70.5

the sum of two angles is 119 degrees. one angle is 22 degrees less than twice the other angle. find the angles

Let second angle be S
Then first angle = 2S - 22
Therefore, S + 2S - 22 = 119
3S = 141
S, or second angle = , or
First angle = 119 - 47, or
You can do the check!!
