Hi,

 sum of three numbers is 2008

Let x represent the first number

the second is 2 less than twice the first 0r  2x-2

 the third is 9 more than thrice the second  0r 3(2x-2) + 9



 x + (2x-2) + 3(2x-2)+9 = 2008   ***

   9x +1 = 2008

      9x = 2007

       x = 223

Numbers are 223, 444, 1341
