What is the smallest integer greater than 3, which when divided by 4, 5, or 6, will have a remainder of 3?
:
Let this number = n
then
n-3 = least common multiple of 4,5,6
Prime factor
4: 2,2
5: 5
6: 2:3
LCM = 2*2*3*5 = 60
therefore
n - 3 = 60
n = 63 is the smallest integer with a remainder of 3
