Question 800146: One number is 10 more than another number. The quotient of the larger divided by the smaller is 6.
Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
One number = x
Other number = x + 10
(x + 10)/x = 6
Cross multiply
6x = x + 10
6x - x = 10
5x = 10
x = 2
One number = 2
Other number = 12
Hope this helps.
