Question 792840: I need your help please: How do you find the length of each side of a triangle if the first side of a triangle is 3 meters shorter than the second side, the third side is 4 times as long as the first side and the perimeter is 27 meters?
This is difficult.
Answer by rfer(16322) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x-3)+x+4(x-3)=27
x-3+x+4x-12=27
6x-15=27
6x=27+15
6x=42
x=42/7
x=7 side 2
x-3=4 side 1
4(x-3)=16 side 3
