Question 791665: the sum of two numbers is 83. One of the numbers is 11 more than the other. What are the numbers?
Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
One number = x
Other number = x + 11
x + (x + 11) = 83
2x + 11 = 83
2x = 83 - 11
2x = 72
x = 36
One number = 36
Other number = 47
Hope this helps.
