Question 781288: In my number, the digit in the ones place is double the digit in the tens place. The sum of the digits is 3. My number is?
Answer by ramkikk66(644) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Sum of the 2 digits is 3.
3 can be expressed as the sum of 2 non-negative numbers in only the following
ways.
3+0
0+3
1+2
2+1
Of the above, only the combination of 1,2 satisfy the condition that one digit
is double the other.
Hence the number is 12.
