Try to think about the qualities of these numbers.
Any three consecutive numbers, assuming integers, would be as odd, even, odd; or even, odd, even.

The sums would be as:

odd+even+odd=odd+odd+even=(odd+odd)+even=even+even.
This result must be EVEN.

even+odd+even=(even+even)+odd=even+odd=odd.
This result must be ODD.

The question description might be expected to be no trouble.
Three consecutive numbers, n, n+1, n+2.
Sum must be equated to 170 according to given:
n+n+1+n+2=170
3n+3=170, and obviouslly this is NOT a product of three and any integer.
