Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Three more than three times a number is that number increased by 37
3 + 3x = x + 37
=> 3x - x = 37 - 3
=> 2x = 34
=> x = 17
Proof:
3 + 3x = x + 37
3 + 3(17) = 17 + 37
3 + 51 = 54
54 = 54.
Hope this helps.
