Question 761588: give 3 consecutive integers such that twice the first added to 5 times the second exceeds 3 times the third by 55
Answer by sachi(548) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let the 3 consecutive integers are a-1,a,a+1
such that twice the first added to 5 times the second exceeds 3 times the third by 55
2(a-1)+5a=3(a+1)+55
or 2a-2+5a=3a+3+55
or 4a=60
or a=15
so the 3 consecutive integers are 14,15,16
