Odd numbers are of the form (2*n)-1,(2*n)+1.Since they are 2 consecutive odd numbers.so now add both numbers.it is 4*n.But it is given that their addition is 16.Hence 4*n=16.So n=4.So substitute n=4.So numbers are 7,9.
