a + b = 1287
a = (5/2)b + (19/2)

Substitute for "a" and solve for "b":
(5/2)b + (19/2) + b = 1287

5b + 19 + 2b = 2574
7b = 2555
b = 365

a + 365 = 1287
a = 922
