Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A certain number is subtracted from 20.
The result multiplied by 3 is equal to 45 what is the number?
:
3(20-n) = 45
60 - 3n = 45
-3n = 45 - 60
-3n = -15
n = -15/-3
n = +5
