FInd three consecutive integers such that the sum of the largest and 5 times the smallest is -244.

The three integers x, (x+1), (x+2)
:
the equation
(x+2) + 5x = -244
6x = -244 - 2
6x = -246
x =
x = -41
therefore
-41, -40, -39 are the three integers
:
check: -39 + 5(-41) = -39 - 205 = -244
:
Note that the number that is the most negative is the smallest
