Half of the number = �N, or
Half of the number increased by 4 =
The result is doubled means:
Increased by 2 and new result is 24 means:

So, now we have:
Then: ---- Simplifying what�s in the parentheses

N + 8 + 2 = 24
N + 10 = 24
N = 24 � 10
N, or number =
