Let s be the smaller the two numbers and let l be the larger of the two numbers. Then:
s-l=-32
3s+2l=134
From the first equation we get
s=l-32 So:
3(l-32)+2l=134
3l-96+2l=134
5l=230
l=46
So s=l-32=46-32=14
