let the three no's be a,b,c
given third no is three times the first no
so c=3a
and second no is 6 times less than the first no.
so b=a-6
also given that a+b+c=111
now a+a-6+3a=111
5a-6=111
5a=111+6
5a=117
a=117/5
a=23.4

b=a-6
=23.4-6
b=17.4
------------
c=3a
=3x23.4
c=70.2

to check the answer a+b+c=111
23.4+17.4+70.2=111
111=111

Then 2nd = F + 6, and 3rd = 3F

We now have: F + F + 6 + 3F = 111

5F = 111 - 6

5F = 105

x-6 = the first number
3(x-6)= the third number
The sum of three numbers is 111.
x-6+x+3(x-6)=111
x-6+x+3x-18=111
5x-24=111
5x=135
x=27
Substitute x for 27
27-6=21
3(27-6)=63
The numbers are 21,27 and 63.
