Find the two numbers such that the sum of seven times the smaller and twice the larger is 155 and the difference between eight times the smaller and the larger is 3.
**
let x=smaller number
let y=larger number
7x+2y=155
8x-y=3
..
7x+2y=155
16x-2y=6
add
23x=161
x=7
y=8x-3=53
smaller number=7
larger number=53
