Let x = first odd integer
x+2 = second odd integer
x+4= third odd integer

3(First) - (second) = (third) + 1
3(x) - (x+2) = (x+4)+ 1
3x-x - 2 = x + 5
2x - 2 = x + 5
x=7 First odd integer
x+2 = 9 Second
x+4=11 Third

Check: 3*7 - 9 = 11 + 1
21 - 9 = 12 IT CHECKS!!
