sol :
forming the equation with the given datas :
let x be the larger number and y be the smaller number
so as given 8x - 3y = 148 ------(1)
9y - 20 = 8x ----------(2)
solve the anove two equation for x & y ,you will get the required nos ,where x = 29 , y = 28.
