let u=unit's digit
let t=ten's digit=3u+1

original number: 10t+u=10(3u+1)=30u+10
interchanged number: 10u+t=10u+3u+1=13u+1

30u+10=3(13u+1)-9=39u+3-9=39u-6
9u=16
u=2
t=3u+1=7
original number=72
