Question 549540: Real numbers - integer=?
Answer by mathie123(224) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
real number-integer=real number (in general, though it could also be other things but this statement holds for any real number-integer where others would not)
Why is this so?
Well you started with a real number (let's just say 5.432) and you subtracted an integer. This means you will have the same decimals, just the integer value of the number will change.
Hopefully this helps a bit!
Have a good one!
