Answer by Maths68(1474)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let
1st number = x
2nd number = y
Sum of numbers
x+y=50........(1)
Product
xy=621........(2)
x=621/y
Put the value of x in (1)
621/y + y = 50
621+y^2=50Y
y^2-50y+621=0
y^2-27y-23y+621=0
y(y-27)-23(y-27)=0
(y-27)(y-23)=0
y-27=0 or y-23=0
y=27 or y=23
Put the value of y in (1)
x+y=50
x+27=50
x=50-27
x=23

Two number are 27 and 23

Check
=====
27+23=50
50=50
27*23=621
621=621
